Are you planning a trip to visit Canada? To visit your family? friends? for a holiday or for work? Then you may need a visitor visa to enter Canada.  A visitor visa is an official document issued by a Canadian Visa office; It is placed in your passport with details such as length of stay, conditions, restrictions etc. The visitor visa will have an end date, meaning you will need to leave Canada before that date.

Note: If you are required to have a visitor visa to enter Canada, you must apply and obtain it prior to your travel to Canada.  You cannot apply for this at the port-of-entry.  Please ensure you apply well before your travel dates.
