The New Brunswick Provincial Nominee Program offers multiple streams for individuals who want to settle and work in New Brunswick. A provincial nomination adds 600 CRS points to an Express Entry profile, making it one of the most powerful tools for candidates who may not otherwise receive an ITA. NB PNP streams are managed by the Province of New Brunswick and are subject to periodic intake pauses and updates.
Program Streams
Express Entry Labour Market Stream
For Express Entry candidates with a valid profile who have a connection to New Brunswick through a job offer, previous work or study experience in the province, or a close family member who is a Canadian citizen or permanent resident in NB.
Skilled Worker with Employer Support
For foreign nationals with a full-time, permanent job offer from a New Brunswick employer. Requires relevant work experience and language proficiency. Employer must demonstrate recruitment efforts.
Post-Graduate Stream
For recent graduates of a New Brunswick post-secondary institution who wish to start or purchase a business in the province. Requires a viable business plan and minimum investment.
Eligibility Requirements
- Express Entry Labour Market Stream: active Express Entry profile with a CRS score; connection to NB through a job offer, prior work/study in NB, or a close family member who is a Canadian citizen or PR in NB
- Skilled Worker with Employer Support: full-time, permanent job offer from an NB employer; relevant work experience in the offered occupation; CLB 4 minimum language proficiency
- Post-Graduate Entrepreneurial Stream: graduated from a NB post-secondary institution within the past two years; viable business plan; minimum personal net worth of $300,000 CAD; minimum investment of $150,000 CAD
- All streams: genuine intention to live and work in New Brunswick long-term
- Streams are subject to intake pauses and caps — eligibility alone does not guarantee an invitation
